Hi there! If it wasn't for Walt disney World, we would never go on vacation. Having said this, I need some advice on DVC. Hubby and I have a 16 yr old special needs son and must travel with a nurse. Hubby resistant to DVC. I need help convincing him.

Hi Tracy!  I love vacationing at Walt Disney World as well and cannot wait to plan my next vacation. Disney Vacation Club was the best decision that our family has ever made, and we actually have purchased points three more times.  I think in your situation becoming members would be ideal.  I would assume that if you travel with a nurse, you will need to purchase an additional room for her.  Staying at a 1 or 2 bedroom villa would allow you all to sleep comfortably and have your own space.  There is also a full kitchen and washer and dryer available in these units which would come in handy for storing medicine or cooking a special meal for your son.  If you travel at least once a year, I think it the most economical way to stay at Walt Disney World.  I would recommend calling the Disney Vacation Club at the following number:  877-382-7826.  I noticed you are also from New York and wanted to recommend visiting the Doorway to Dreams store in New York. Here you can see a villa and talk with a sales representative and have all your questions answered.  Good Luck and hope this helps with the convincing!
