Warning: high maintenance traveler coming. Husband travels on business all the time and wants to avoid rif-raf, buses, shuttles, etc. We booked GF. Is that going to be enough of a true Disney experience for the kids (ages 4 and 2)? Any other advice?

Kristina - thanks for the warning!  Tinkerbell has been alerted and extra pixie dust is coming your way!  LOL

I think your children will definitely have a true Disney experience at the Grand Floridian (GF). It's a beautiful resort located on the monorail and just one quick stop away from Magic Kingdom.  You'll be able to  watch Wishes and the nightly Electrical Water parade from the convenience of the GF beach.

I have to warn you, if you plan to solely use Disney transportation, you will not be able to avoid the buses entirely.  You'll need to use the bus to get to Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, the water parks and Downtown Disney.  You'll be able to use the resort monorail to get to Epcot by switching monorails at the Transportation and Ticket Center.

If you have any other specific questions, please let us know.  Have a magical vacation!  Diane  :)
