Hello Alison and welcome to planDisney!
It looks like you're well on your way to enjoying a magical stay at
Walt Disney World Resort. My family loves to spend time at the Disney Resorts Collection hotels and my children adore checking out the resort pools. It sounds like you enjoy the waves too so let's dive in!
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, a Victorian-style Resort hotel inspired by historic Saratoga Springs, famous for its spas and horse racing, is home to
2 feature pools and a spa. High Rock Spring Pool is a stunning pool complete with waterfalls, zero-depth entry, and a 128-foot-long slide. You can also find 2 whirlpool spas just steps from the pool. The second feature pool is called the Paddock Pool. It is easily identified by its water tower - my children like to point it out from the bus when we pass by heading to our next destination (and then they usually ask if we can go swim there!). The Paddock pool has a 146-foot-long waterslide that begins at the top of the water tower, it's a lot of fun! Both pool areas have aquatic play areas for smaller children as well as smaller kid-sized water slides. I spoke with a Cast Member who shared that all pools across Walt Disney World Resort are heated to 82 degrees Fahrenheit. The pools will warm up with the Florida sun and are always a welcome spot to cool down and splash! Beyond the 2 main pools, you'll find 3 leisure pools each with whirlpool spas; there are plenty of places to take a dip.
If you find that swimming and splashing work up an appetite, so luckily, both of the feature pools have places nearby to grab a bite:
On the Rocks Pool Bar is found next to High Rock Spring Pool (my favorite lunch option is the Barbecue Pulled Pork Sandwich), and
The Paddock Grill is located next to the Paddock Pool (be sure to try the Fried Chicken Sandwich, you won't be disappointed).
I hope you can explore the various pools at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, it's always nice to enjoy the wet side of the resorts! If you have any other questions, please visit us again at

Just keep swimming,
Candace
