Is it warm enough to go to water park in February? Will water park closes if the temperature is under certain degree? The forum said to bring your own water bottle to the snack bar to get free cold water, is there any fountains in theme park?

    Hi there, Jo!

February weather in Central Florida is a fickle thing. Sometimes it's quite chilly, most often it's warming up. This is especially true toward the end of the month, when temperatures are consistently on the rise.

At both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach, the water is always heated to a comfortable temperature, contingent upon the temperature of the air outside.

If the outside temperature is predicted to be below 50F, the water park will not be operational.

Water bottles are a great idea to have at the Walt Disney World Resort. Water fountains abound throughout all of the Parks, and you can fill up as many times as you'd like. One suggestion: bring some packets of powdered drink flavoring. Florida water is not known for its crisp, clear qualities, and some powdered drink mix is often a welcome addition.

Please be advised that Typhoon Lagoon is closed until March 17, 2012 for refurbishment.

    Have a blast!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
