How warm are the days typically in December? We will be in Disney World from December 3-11th. We were wondering if it will be too cold to get even a little wet on Splash Mountain.

    Hi Frances,

Early December is a fabulous time to visit Walt Disney World. The holiday decorations and special events are in full swing but the crowds are generally light. Temperatures can vary a lot, but average temperatures in early December are in the mid 70s with lows in the mid- to upper 50s.

I think that's perfect theme park weather and would guess that you will be just fine taking a zoom down Splash Mountain. If you are concerned about the temperature, I would plan to ride in midday, when it is sure to be the warmest.

My family frequently visits during that week and seldom over the years have we encountered anything but mild temperatures.

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Please let me know if I can do anything else to help as you make your plans. Enjoy!
