Welcome to planDisney, Rowan. As Walt Disney said, "to all who that come to this happy place, welcome." As a man who loved adventure, discovery and exploration, I am sure he meant guests who dare to boldly go where no man has gone before.
Skywalkers, Lightyears and space rangers from galaxies across the universe are welcome to come to Walt Disney World in their uniforms. Like all guests, they do need to follow
dress protocols. Be sure to wear comfortable foot protection as there is a lot of ground to cover in exploring this sector of the planet. Do not wear anything that drags on the ground or could interfere with another human or alien's path. Officers over the age of 14 may not wear helmets, protective guards or masks that cover their faces. And while a bridge officer is always planning for potential hazards or threats, weapons or anything that looks like a weapon is prohibited by Disney protocols. With your uniform in mind, you may want to check the site just to be sure because, you know, I'm a doctor not a fashion mind reader.
I do hope your exploration includes a journey to
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, where you can meet my favorite fighter pilots. If you are feeling a little homesick, you can test your skills on a very enterprising space ship:
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. If you are daring, ask about "Chewbacca Mode" as you board the best hunk of junk to ever take flight. After jumping through hyperspace, you can battle as they do in galaxies far, far away in
Rise of the Resistance. I am sure the Resistance would welcome a bridge officer to help protect secrets of their rebel base.
Although I can hear my husband grunting "I am not a merry man," I hope your venture back on Earth - the most magical place on it - makes you a very merry man!
Live long and prosper,
Jana
