Buongiorno Nicola!
Welcome to planDisney! I love that you and your girlfriend are heading to Walt Disney World Resort in Florida! My husband and I began our love for the Parks as adults when we visited Walt Disney World Resort on our first wedding anniversary and re-connected with our inner child. We loved exploring the various lands and eating all the snacks! I hope you two find magic and make great memories too!
You are already on the right path my friend in that both you and your girlfriend have created your own
My Disney Experience Accounts and have connected on the
My Family & Friends List. Once you purchase your tickets you will see them available in your Plans under
"Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker." You will see the tickets you purchased here and there will be a drop-down menu option to "Reassign Ticket" that will show the people on your Family & Friends List. Just select your girlfriend and you're done! She should now see the ticket in her account. Tickets are allowed to be reassigned until they are used.
Once they are used they are locked to the person who used it. If you are interested in dining at any
Table Service Restaurant during your trip you should try to be ready to
make your reservations 60 days before you arrive. If you are staying on-site at a
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel then you can not only book 60 days ahead but also 10 days into your trip! That means on-site guests get an advantage in securing reservations over off-site guests. It's fun to take a break from all the magic and motion to sit and have a lovely meal together. For you two lovebirds, I would suggest
Narcoossee's at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Sanaa at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas-Kidani Village, and
California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort. All my selections are outside of the Parks and at the Resorts so if you are using the
complimentary Resort transportation you may have to make a transfer at a Park or at Disney Springs to get them. I prefer ordering an Uber or Lyft which is a rideshare vehicle to get to the Resorts when I have a dining reservation.
I hope this helps and you have a wonderful time!
Happy Planning!
