Hi! There from 06/26-07/06. DS (5) wants to do Jedi training. How do we sign up? Does it cost $? Is it only avail certain days and times? lol apparently I need all the info you can give! Thanks :) Im obsessed with reading this panel!

    Hi Laura,

I know that you've already begun the exiting count down to your trip!

The Jedi Training Academy (JTA)  is located near Star Tours. Registration will be near the stage & any Cast Members in that area can direct you to the registration area. This experience is free to participants.

Guests must be between the ages of 4 & 12 to participate in the JTA. After completing their training, each participant "battles" Darth Vader. It is held several times a day. The times will be listed on your Times Guide that you pick up along with your Guide Map when you enter Disney's Hollywood Studios. The number of participants is limited and they start registration first thing in the morning and stop once the spots are filled for the day (they usually fill up fast during peak seasons). If this is something your son wants to participate in, head that way first. He will need to be present with you to register. They will ask him a couple of questions to make sure he can follow some basic directions.

There will be a PhotoPass Photographer during the show getting shots of all of the participants. Following the session, be sure to stop by so that he/she can give you a slip of paper with instructions on how to get those pictures added to your Disney PhotoPass.

Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
