    If I want to make it to the parks right before they open realistically how early should I make character breakfast res? If 1900 Park Fare and MK, or Cape May and HS? Going Feb 3-11 thanks!

    Hi Stephanie!

    This is a great question. Generally I plan on spending about an hour at breakfast at a Table Service restaurant. That is from the time I arrive to check in to the time I am walking out the door. Sometimes it takes less time and sometimes it takes a little more, especially if it is a Disney Character Dining Experience. 

    From a Magic Kingdom Monorail Resort, it only takes about 5 to 10 minutes via the monorail to get to the Magic Kingdom. That makes breakfast at Chef Mickey's, 1900 Park Fare, and Ohana easy. For other restaurants, you might have to take a bus to your next destination. Buses generally run every twenty minutes and it typically takes about 10 to 15 minutes to go somewhere within Walt Disney World. 

    With this in mind, I generally recommend that guests make a reservation for the first seating or earliest time. I hope this helps. Please write back with more questions.
