I wantn to reserve at the Fort Wildernesn Campground from the 24 of February thru the 28th of February. For a trailor 2 people. Seniors, Florida residents.

Hey there, Pat. I'm so glad you've stopped by planDisney to chit-chat about your vacation to Walt Disney World next year!

Pat, Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is such a fun place to stay. My family and I stay there a few times a year and love it. The campground itself is so nice and there is so much to see and do. It's a perfect home base, especially with a travel trailer, for a Walt Disney World vacation.

Pat, online bookings for 2023 Walt Disney World vacations actually open up tomorrow June 8, 2022. At that time, you'll be able to book a Walt Disney World Resort hotel or campground stay or you can make it a vacation package by adding on tickets to bundle it up altogether. If you find that you don't need to make it a vacation package by not wanting theme park tickets, you can actually call today to reserve your campsite. Walt Disney World Resort hotel only stays are available to book 499 days in advance but this is strictly over the phone. If you don't want to wait until tomorrow to do it online, you can call (407) 939-1936 and a Cast Member will be happy to assist you with this. To book a Walt Disney World Resort hotel or campsite only stay you'll need your travel dates, your travel party, where you would like to stay and you'll be required to pay a night's stay as a deposit. Then, the balance will be due after you check in.

When staying at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, Pat, I find a golf cart to be so helpful in getting around. There is so much to see and do but the property is pretty spread out. Disney's Fort Wilderness or The Fort as it is lovingly nicknamed rents out golf carts. To rent one, you can call 407-WDW-PLAY and reserve yours. They rent them out starting one year in advance so you fall well into that category.

I hope this helps you with your planning, Pat. If you have any other questions about this or anything else, please feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm here to help.

    Happy camping!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
