I was wanting to take my 4 and 7 year old to Disneyworld but it will just be us 3, are we able to ride some of the rides together or if they can ride together and I ride behind them?

    Hi, there!

Welcome to planDisney, Cristina. I'm so glad you stopped by! We are just thrilled to help you plan a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort with little ones in tow. Let's chat!

There are lots of pixie-dusted adventures to be had in the theme parks with your kiddos. You'll make so many magical memories together! As a mom of three, I understand your concern. It sometimes feels like we're juggling, right? I'm pleased to tell you that there are many, many attractions you can enjoy with your kids without having to worry about seating arrangements. Attractions with bench seating like "it's a small world," Pirates of the Caribbean, Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railroad, Frozen Ever After, and Kilimanjaro Safaris, just to name a few, can easily seat the three of you together. Attractions with wide ride vehicles like Under the Sea - Journey of The Little Mermaid, The Seas with Nemo & Friends, Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, Peter Pan's Flight, and Alien Swirling Saucers, again, just to name a few, can easily seat the three of you together too. Other attractions like The Barnstormer, can only seat two in a row, but the Cast Members there will likely seat you with your 3-year old and then seat your 7-year old directly in front of you.

Did you know there are lots of incredible shows you and your kids can enjoy together in the theme parks? Some of my kid's favorites include Mickey's PhilharMagic at Magic Kingdom Park, For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration at Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Festival of the Lion King at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.

Exploring the theme parks requires a lot of walking and little legs tire quickly, so from one mom to another, I encourage you to have a stroller on hand. Strollers can be rented from all four theme parks and Disney Springs, but you can also bring your own as long as it's no larger than 31" in width and 52" in length.

I hope this was helpful, Cristina. Please let us know if you have any other questions about your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! We'd love to help you plan a magical stay.
