Wanting to visit WDW again but cant decide wether to come in October or Feb. Which is a better month to visit, crowd and weather wise?. Traveling with a 3yr old and 5 yr old!?

    Hi Ashley,

I actually prefer October.  The weather is typically warmer (you can still get some really cold days in February), and fall decorations make the parks look particularly festive.  Except for Columbus Day weekend, the crowds are fairly low. Visiting in the fall means you can experience Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.  It's a separate ticketed event with special fireworks, parades, character dance parties, and trick-or-treating.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
