Wanting to stay in value resort this September and take advantage of free dining plan but want to upgrade from quick service plan. Will online booking allow me to do this or do I need to call to make my reservations? How much does it cost to upgrade?

Hi Laci! Don't you just love special offers like FREE DINING for your Walt Disney World vacation!

You are more than welcome to upgrade your dining plan from the Quick-Service Plan offered when staying at a Disney Value Resort to one of the other plans that include at least one table-service meal credit per night of your stay.

When booking online, simply visit the Special Offers page and choose the Free Dining Offer! Then, input your travel party details and resort selection and click "Continue" at the bottom of the page. On the "Customize Your Trip" page, scroll down to the option "Change Selection" under the Dining and Entertainment section and there, you'll find the additional dining plan options.

The additional cost to upgrade to the regular Dining Plan is less than $20 per adult, per night and less than $6 per child, per night. Well worth it, in my opinion to add a delicious character meal experience to your vacation plans! Just be sure to book in advance online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE (939-3463) as reservations due tend to go quickly during Free Dining dates!

Thanks for taking the time to visit us at the Walt Disney World Moms Panel and feel free to send more questions our way in the days leading up to your trip! May your Disney vacation be practically perfect in every way!
