Hi Alexa, and thanks for visiting us at planDisney. It sounds like you have a magical vacation coming up, by both land and sea! So let’s chat about the best ticket to get for your theme park days.
At Disney World,
standalone multi-day theme park tickets generally need to be used within a certain number of days after the selected start date. That valid use period varies depending on the number of days on your ticket. For instance, a two-day ticket is valid for four days beginning on the selected start date. So whether you can use one day before your cruise and the second day after depends on when you plan to be in the parks. If your two park days don’t fall within a four-day window, then I’d suggest buying two one-day theme park tickets.
There are a few exceptions. For instance, if you purchased your tickets as part of a Walt Disney Travel Company room and ticket package, the
tickets are valid for admission beginning on your check-in day and must be used by your check-out day, or in accordance with the standalone validity windows, whichever period is longer. There are also certain tickets, like some Military Salute tickets, that can be used over a longer amount of time. If you’re not sure which use period applies to your specific theme park ticket, I’d recommend calling the
Tickets and Hotel Reservations phone number. A Cast Member would be happy to confirm!
I recently stayed at
All-Star Sports Resort and loved the frequent bus service to the theme parks and extensive food court! Be sure to check out the Activities Schedule in the
Recreation section of the All-Star Sports Resort page so you don’t miss any of the fun happenings during your stay. Some of my must-dos are the Touchdown! Campfire and Silent Disco!
I’m wishing you the most magical vacation this November! And if you have any other questions, we’d love to have you back at planDisney.
