i was wanting to stay at the cabins and was wondering what dining package to get, i see theres a full size kitchen but is there anywhere to grocery shop? thanks, any info would be greatly appreciated

The Fort Wilderness cabins are indeed very convenient for those families who wish to save money by cooking or eating on their own.  They have a full size kitchen complete with refrigerator, stove/oven, dishwasher, and microwave.  You also have a small grill on the deck of each cabin.  There are two outposts on this property where you can purchase some basic food items. I have found that the best way to get what you really want and need is to use one of the grocery delivery services offered.  I suggest you look at www.gardengrocer.com and see what they offer and the prices for their items.  I was very satisfied when I used them in May during our stay at the cabins. When we checked in and arrived at the cabin all the food was inside and perishables were put away for us. Very easy and convenient!
