Hello! Wanting to take sidewalk chalk for my littles to play with outside at Beach Club and AoA. Is this allowed? Thanks!

    Hi Melanie!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I suggest not bringing sidewalk chalk.  This is generally frowned upon by Disney.  However, at a few resorts and in select areas, Disney does allow children to play with sidewalk chalk but Disney provides it and there are usually a couple of Disney Cast Members present to make sure nothing inappropriate is drawn or written and that the chalk only gets used in a specific area.  I have seen this near the pool area recently at Pop Century, the All Stars Resort, the Polynesian Resort, and the Art of Animation Resort.  The Beach Club is one of my favorite resorts and I have never seen it there, but I just might have missed it.  I suggest not bringing your own, but to ask upon check-in if there's a place for your children to use it; if there is, Disney will provide it.

Enjoy planning your magical Disney vacation, and please write back with more questions!
