Planning trips to
Walt Disney World Resort is one of my favorite pastimes, Monalou. I can definitely relate to you wanting to be able to refer back to previous searches. I always suggest planning your visit as far in advance as possible. That way, you increase the chances of booking the resort that you want to stay at on the dates that you’re looking to travel.
To answer your question, Monalou, if I’m understanding what you’re asking, as of this writing there isn’t an option on the Walt Disney World Resort website that allows you to save previous searches. Having said that, here are some strategies that have worked for my family and me when we plan our own vacations. I will often price out resort and ticket packages for the top three
resorts I’d like to stay at for our trip. I’ll copy down those details in a separate document, and we then discuss our options as a family. Once we know where we’d like to stay, I can easily go back and book our vacation in a few easy steps. The Walt Disney World website really makes planning a trip a breeze.
Like I said, once you’re confident in your choices, it doesn’t hurt to book as soon as you know when you’d like to travel. As of this writing, for most
vacation packages, if you need to
modify or cancel, you can do so up to 30 days before your check-in date. This policy is always subject to change, so it’s important to read the terms and conditions of your vacation package before you make your reservation.
When planning a trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth, Monalou, I find the best way to build the excitement is to involve your travel party in the planning process. And once you know your check-in date, start a countdown! I always feel at peace when I have a countdown to my next visit to Walt Disney World.
