We are wanting to run in the January 2016 5k or 10k race and found out that strollers aren't allowed to be pushed in the race, but are you allowed to wear one of those baby back packs? We are bringing our little grand baby and want to participate with her.

Glad to hear from you again, Sherrie!

There is currently not a policy in place that will prohibit you from running with your grand baby in a carry-on type child carrier. However, I do suggest completing a few training runs with your grand child in it before you try it out on race day.

You'll also want to test for comfort for both the child & wearer while in the running motion, as well as overall safety for the child- proper head and neck support, etc.

I hope this helps give you some direction, Sherrie! We would love to see your family out on the course. And as always, please do not hesitate to let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Happy Training!
