wanting to reserve rooms for dec. 08, 2018. I know that I can start that process 499 days out. do I need to call or can I just do that on line. If need to call will I be able to look on line to see it or when can I do the rest of my package

    Hi John,

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Glad to know you are busy planning a vacation for 2018. I am also planning my vacation for 2018, and 2019 and...

You can make a room-only reservation up to 500 days in advance; however, you will need to speak to a Vacation Planning Specialist at (407) 939-1936 or a travel agent. This is a great way to guarantee a particular type of room or Resort hotel. Note that prices quoted will be approximate and subject to change until the 2018 rates are released. Only Mickey knows when this will happen, but I would guess sometime in the spring of this year. At that time, you will also be able to book a Magic Your Way Vacation Package, which is the only way to add one of the famous Disney Dining Plans.

One last tip: you have a while to go, but do not forget you can book dining reservations up to 180 days in advance of your Check-In. Just visit the Walt Disney World restaurants and reservations page when the time comes. And keep on planning!
