Wanting to reserve hotel on Disney

    Hello, Mary! Welcome to planDisney!

Need help picking the perfect Disney Resorts Collection hotel for your Walt Disney World Resort visit? Hakuna Matata, you got a friend in me! Staying at a Disney Resort adds extra magic to your vacation with unique themes, fantastic dining, and proximity to the parks.

Here are the categories to consider: Deluxe Villas, Deluxe Resort Hotels, Moderate Resort Hotels, Value Resort Hotels, and Campgrounds. There are also “Other Select Deluxe Hotels” like the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, Dolphin Hotel, and Swan Reserve. These options offer complimentary theme park parking, Early Theme Park Entry, Extended Evening Theme Park Hours (for Deluxe Villas and Deluxe Resorts), plus complimentary transportation.

Value Resort Hotels are budget-friendly. My favorite is Disney’s Art of Animation, known for its Family Suites with separate bedrooms, living areas, kitchenettes, and two bathrooms. Suites feature themes like Finding Nemo, Cars, or The Lion King, while standard rooms have The Little Mermaid theme. The Skyliner at this resort provides easy access to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT.

Moderate Resort Hotels are slightly more expensive but offer more amenities and are closer to the parks or Disney Springs. I love Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort for its relaxing beach atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after park visits. It's also connected to the Skyliner.

Deluxe Resort Hotels are higher-priced mainly due to their park proximity and excellent amenities. I recommend Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa for its easy walk to Magic Kingdom, and Disney’s Beach Club Resort for its sand-bottom pool, Stormalong Bay, and walking access to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

For more space and amenities like a full kitchen or in-unit washer and dryer, consider Deluxe Villa Resorts. They offer 1-, 2-, and 3-Bedroom accommodations, plus Deluxe Studio options with kitchenettes.

Visit the Disney Resorts Collection page to enter your travel dates and guest numbers to see pricing. Once you find your ideal spot, head to the Vacation Planning page to book your hotel, theme park tickets, and dining plan.

If you need more help choosing between resorts, just let me know!

    See you real soon,
