I am wanting to purchase a water park ticket for one day but it is during the black out days. Can I purchase the tickets and still use them?

Kowabunga, Cheyenne! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for stopping by with your question. Let's help you make a splash at the Walt Disney World Resort!

Living here in the Sunshine State, I can tell you there's pretty much nothing better than finding a cool spot to hang out on a hot day. That's why so many of us love the Disney Water Parks. Whether you're plummeting down Mount Gushmore at Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park or drifting on a lazy river at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, there's a whole lot of splash-tacular fun to be had.

Cheyenne, you have a couple of options for scooping up tickets to Disney's Water Parks. The 1-Day Water Park Ticket with Blockout Dates is a good value for Guests who are visiting Walt Disney World in the winter or early spring seasons. This year, that ticket is blocked out May 25 - September 29, while dates for 2020 are May 23 - September 27. I see that your travel date is right near the end of the blockout period, so this ticket wouldn't work for you. However, Disney does offer a 1-Day Water Park Ticket without blockout dates for only a few dollars more. I think that's your best option.

I hope this helps you plan a swimmingly good time at the Disney Water Parks, Cheyenne. Please float on by and see us again if you have any other questions!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
