Hi there, Kayla,
I’m happy you have come to visit us at planDisney as you proceed with your plans to visit the Disneyland Resort. As regular Guests just like you, it is a pleasure to help fellow Guests make the most of their visits to The Happiest Place on Earth!
When purchasing Disneyland Resort
theme park tickets from third-party resellers, it’s wise of you to check the terms and conditions, including ticket expiration dates. I happen to have a GovX account too. When I logged on to check out the offers for Disneyland Resort theme park tickets, I noticed a few different options. For example, they make available the current
California resident ticket offer. This particular ticket type expires on September 28, 2023. So if you plan on visiting later than that, you’ll want to select a different ticket type instead. When looking at regular park tickets, I found that one-day tickets being sold on their site expire on December 30, 2024, and multi-day tickets expire on January 12, 2025. If you were to target a visit for the
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort this year and purchase those tickets, you would have about a year or more to use the tickets. That added flexibility is nice to have, just in case something comes up and you need to postpone a visit for a while.
An important item to note about the regular multi-day park tickets is that they expire 13 days after the first day of use, when all of the days are used, or on the final expiration date indicated at the time of purchase, whichever comes first. This is different from the current California resident tickets, which don’t have the 13-day term. The California resident tickets may be used on any three valid and available dates until September 28, 2023. When you book your
theme park reservations, you will find that the booking tool will help keep track of when your tickets expire so that you will be sure to only select dates for which your tickets are valid.
I hope that helps clarify things somewhat, Kayla. If you have a follow-up question about a specific ticket type or any other question about your visit to the Disneyland Resort, please stop by planDisney again.
