Hiya Damion,
Welcome to planDisney! I love that you are planning a father-daughter trip with your daughters. What a magical way to make memories together. It is never too early to start planning, and I'm so excited to help you get started on your planning journey.
Between a resort hotel stay, dining, theme park tickets, and
Enchanting Extras, it's nice to be able to make payments towards your vacation rather than paying it all up front. The great news is that Guests who book a
Walt Disney World Resort Vacation Package (a reservation type that combines a stay at one of the Walt Disney World Resort Collection Hotels with theme park tickets) can make payments toward their final balance. Unlike traditional payment plans, there are no set payment amounts. You can pay in whatever increments you prefer, with the final payment due 30 days before your arrival. What I love about this is that I can apply all the Disney Gift Cards I receive for every holiday to my upcoming trip balances whenever I get them.
If this is something you are interested in, Damion, you can set up your vacation package right now (and make changes if needed)! To begin, choose a
resort hotel that suits you and your daughters, such as the iconic Polynesian Village Resort. After selecting the resort, the following screen will prompt you to add theme park tickets. Don't skip this step because without the theme park tickets added, you will have a "room only reservation," which is not eligible for making payments. Select the number of days and the type of ticket you want (whether it is a park hopper). The next screen will give you the option to add on a
dining plan (which isn't required for a vacation package and can be added on later if you decide you want it). After you make your selections, the package will be added to your cart, where you can review the details. After making an initial deposit, you will be able to view the remaining balance you need to pay before the 30-day deadline via
My Disney Experience.
I hope that was helpful, Damion. Before I let you go, if you need any additional assistance, please let us know. We are here to help you weigh your resort hotel choices, plan special touches, and think through dining reservations. You've always got a friend in us here, so if there is anything else we can help you with, please come back and see us!
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
