Hi Ciarra,
Welcome to planDisney! I am excited to learn that you are planning a birthday trip to the Walt Disney World Resort!
Let's go through some budget-friendly tips. First, review the
Disney Resorts Collection hotels and start to price out
vacation packages. I suggest that you do some comparison pricing of Disney's All-Star Music, Disney's All-Sar Movies, Disney's Pop Century, and Disney's Art of Animation Resorts. Review the amenities at each and consider that Disney's Pop Century and Art of Animation resorts have access to the
Disney Skyliner. Keep your eye on the
Resort Hotels Updates to note any changes to reopening dates.
As you book your vacation package, you will need to select the number of theme park ticket days. I suggest at least four days so that you can have a full day in each park. Tickets with the
Park Hopper® Option are nice, but not necessary, especially if on a budget. Or, you could do two days of tickets with the Park Hopper® Option and just plan to visit two parks a day. Just keep in mind that the ability to park hop will depend on park capacity during the day. At a minimum, you could plan a three-night stay and spend your departure day at that fourth park. Or, you could stay four nights and just relax on the morning of departure day.
Once you book a vacation package, be sure to make
Disney Park Pass system reservations. And, at 60-days prior to your visit, make a few
advanced dining reservations, certainly make one on your birthday! Review the menus of each dining location to get a sense of the food offered and the prices. To see a menu, just check the home page of each restaurant and click on the link to View Menu. Be sure to select the appropriate meal period and then check pricing for that meal period.
Ciarra, consider using
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering. You should be able to review menus and check pricing to order food that is tasty and within your budget. Set a budget for souvenirs and stick with it. For your birthday, I suggest watching the fireworks at Magic Kingdom. If you want to dine while watching the fireworks, try making a reservation at
'Ohana or
California Grill. Or, just find a great spot in Magic Kingdom and watch the fireworks from there. Find that fireworks spot at least an hour prior to the fireworks. It would be the perfect ending to what I trust will be a wonderful birthday!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
