I am wanting to plan a hotel stay at Disneyland. Is my 2 year old considered a room occupant when pricing or is he considered a free guest like in the tickets?

    Hey Sean!

    Welcome to planDisney!

You must be thrilled about your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth. Planning the trip can be just as exciting as the trip itself. If you haven’t decided on a hotel yet my top two recommendations are Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa or the Disneyland Hotel. My family loves the craftsman-style elegance of Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and we also love the amazing food options when it comes to dining. Because you have a little Mouseketeer, the Disneyland Hotel may be a more Magical fit for your family. It has a little more Disney theming and my kids love the pools and waterslides, which would be perfect for your stay in June.

I’m happy to report that children, two years of age and younger are considered guests of Mickey Mouse in both the theme parks and hotel rooms. When looking to book your hotel room, you do not need to count your two year old in the occupancy. If you need a crib during your stay, you can request one when you’re checking into the hotel in person, or if you do an online check-in, you can request a crib from the hotel room telephone.

Well Sean, I can't wait for you to experience the enchantment of the Disneyland Resort Hotels.

Remember, always believe in the Magic!
