We are wanting to plan our honeymoon. It would be October of 2020. The dates only go out so far but when is the earliest we can plan it? And when is the best to plan it?

Hi, Taylor! Congratulations from all of us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel on your upcoming nuptials! My husband and I spent our honeymoon at The Most Magical Place on Earth 20 years ago, and we have so many magical memories. I still remember when my best friend had Bride and Groom Ears delivered to our room, and we wore them all over the Parks!

You can book a room-only reservation 499 days from the date of your intended check out; however, for dates in 2020, you will need to call Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Reservations at (407) 939-1936. The best way to get started on your planning is to make a My Disney Experience Account. Start doing research now on where you'd like to stay, and then be ready to book in a few weeks. I chose Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter for its romantic ambiance. A Horse-Drawn Carriage Ride along the resort's Sassagoula River would be the fairy-tale definition of romance!

The 180-day mark is the time to make all your dining reservations. California Grill is my top choice for couples, but the place for an uber fancy candlelit dinner would be Victoria & Albert's located at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Also, think about adding on a Ferrytale Fireworks Cruise for the perfect dream-come-true evening

Taylor, we hope you'll come back and visit us again for any more planning needs!

Meet the Panelist: Eean, Pennsylvania

Hi, I'm Eean from Pennsylvania!  I may have an unusual name, but my passion for Disney is not unique.  It’s amazing how many people you can find who love talking about, "The Most Magical Place On Earth!"  I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at middle school basketball games waiting for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
