Hi, I am wanting to plan my first ever trip to Disney for my birthday in November. I would like to stay at the Star Wars attraction then on a Disney property for the remainder of my stay. I a plus size so I would also like the best recommendations for ride

Hi, Christina!  Or as they say on the planet Batuu, "Bright suns!"  Thanks for stopping by planDisney on your way to a galaxy far, far away.

As a lifelong Star Wars fan, I love the way that Walt Disney World Resort allows me to live out my very own Star Wars adventure.  I believe your question might be referring to Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, which was a two-night immersive experience.  Unfortunately, Star Wars: Galactic Starcuiser welcomed its last travelers a few weeks ago, and this experience is no longer available.  However, there are still plenty of opportunities for Walt Disney World Resort Guests to become part of the Star Wars universe.

At Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in Disney's Hollywood Studios, you'll truly feel as if you've traveled to the planet Batuu.  You'll have the opportunity to explore the shops in Black Spire Outpost, stop by the local watering hole for a drink, pilot the Millennium Falcon, and maybe even join the Resistance in an epic battle against the First Order.  Experiencing the fully immersive world of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is a dream come true for any Star Wars fan!

When it comes to choosing a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel to call your home away from home, our planDisney Resort Hotels Pocket Guides are great resources.  All Disney resort hotels offer complimentary transportation to the theme parks, however, if you plan to spend a lot of time at Disney's Hollywood Studios, I might recommend one of the resort hotels conveniently located along the Disney Skyliner route.

When designing attractions for the Walt Disney World theme parks, the Imagineers do their best to make these rides accessible for as many Guests as possible.  That being said, we realize that one size might not fit all.  If you have concerns about being able to ride an attraction comfortably, I recommend speaking to a Cast Member at the attraction entrance for specific information about each individual ride vehicle.  Some attractions even have a test seat near the queue entrance that you can try out before getting in line.

Christina, please feel free to stop by planDisney again with any additional questions that you might have.  I hope your birthday trip is out of this world!  May the Force be with you!
