Wanting to make lunch reservations for Sci Fi at Hollywood Studios. Going on a Friday during Star Wars weekend. Not sure what time to make reservations because don't want it to interfere with Star Wars activities like Jedi training Academy.

    Hello, Keith,

It is such dilemma to try and make the right plans without knowing all the details; where's the Force when we really need it!

What may be most helpful for you is to take a look at the Event Guides from the last couple of years to get an idea of when the different activities were happening.  If you look at your must-dos and have an idea of when they happened in the previous years, you can at least make an more-educated guess as to the best time to eat. If it helps, there are also plenty of counter service restaurants that don't require reservations, which may help you to be more flexible with your dining plans.

To see the previous event guides, www.allearsnet.com has some available; just do a search for Star Wars Weekend.

Just an fyi, the Jedi Training Academy is offered throughout the day.  Just make sure and go directly to the sign-up (double-check the sign up location on the Times Guide located with the park maps) the moment the park opens.  You need to have your child/children with you.

Have a magical vacation and may the Force be with you!
