we are wanting to look into booking a trip for January 28,2023 thru February 4,2023

    Hello, Lydia!

Welcome to planDisney! I am so glad that you brought your question to us. Getting that confirmation number for a trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth is so exciting! Let's talk about how to get your 2023 adventure started.

I personally believe that it is never too early to start planning a trip to Walt Disney World. But sometimes we have to wait for the magic to catch up with our excitement. Currently, you can book a Walt Disney World vacation package through January if you have a December 2022 arrival date. But Hakuna Matata, Lydia! Vacation packages for 2023 are coming. Be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog. This is a great source for all the announcements about vacation packages, park offerings, new food, and attraction opening dates.

So, what to do when you are ready to start planning, and the panning isn't quite ready for you? I do want to share that rooms at the Walt Disney World Collection Resorts can be booked up to 499 days in advance. Which means you can book now. I highly recommend this option if there is a particular resort or room that is a must-stay for you and your travel party. Some resorts book up quickly, especially those with theme park views and close proximity. Here's looking at you, monorail resorts. And, great news. You can add a vacation package to this room-only reservation once they become available later this year. If you are looking to book your hotel now, you can do so by speaking with a friendly Cast Member. You can reach them at (407) 939-1936.

Once you have booked your trip, whether it's now or after new packages arrive, be sure to create a My Disney Experience account and link your reservation confirmation. Hi-five if you already have one! I also encourage you to download the My Disney Experience Mobile app. This is such a great tool for managing Disney Park Pass reservations, placing mobile food orders, and accessing the day's tip board. I truly believe it is a vacation essential.

I hope that this information helps get your adventure started!
We can't wait to see ya real soon!
