Hi, I was wanting to know the one $139 ticket for 3 nights, how can you upgrade them to the year pass. And how much discount do you get on hotels with the year passes. thank you

    Hi Olivia,

The 3-day Discover Disney ticket for Florida residents is a great value and a super way to get an introduction to all the Walt Disney World theme parks have to offer. If you decide you want to extend your three days into a full year of Disney fun, you can upgrade the ticket to an annual pass. To do that, you simply need to visit a ticket window or Guest Relations location before your Discover Disney ticket expires. You will be able to apply the $139 cost of the Discover Disney ticket to the cost of whichever Florida resident annual pass you choose.

As a passholder, you are entitled to a wide range of benefits and discounts, everything from 20 percent off merchandise through Sept. 30, 2017 to dining discounts to special rates at Walt Disney World resorts. You will find the full list of benefits at the site I linked here.

My family has been Florida resident passholders for almost 20 years, and we can't imagine being without convenient and frequent access to all four theme parks.

Thanks for stopping in at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question, Olivia. Please come back often with any questions you have as you begin your Walt Disney World adventure.

    Enjoy,
