I am wanting to know the best options for preferred seating for fireworks? Would I get it through meal deals?

Hi Samantha! Almost every guest who comes for a Walt Disney World vacation makes a plan to see some of the fantastic firework shows.

My choice for a quiet and comfortable location to watch the great Magic Kingdom fireworks would be the Firework Dessert Party. This is an extra cost but it allows you to enjoy some great sweets while sitting at a table. When the show begins you have the absolute best view of Tinkerbell coming down from the castle and then the entire show is right in front of you without anything interfering with the views. It is especially nice if you have spent the day in the park as having a reserved seat is beyond magical for tired legs. The dessert selection is quite large with plenty of offerings for the children as well.

Another optimum way to see the firework shows is to reserve a spot on one of the many firework cruises. You can rent a pontoon boat for just your family and it includes snacks and drinks and a cruise around the Seven Seas Lagoon as well as Bay Lake. Your captain will share some history and facts along the way then stop the boat in the water in front of the Magic Kingdom. The music will be piped in right at the boat making this very special and fun. There is also the Ferrytale Wishes cruise which is on one of the large ferry boats. Desserts are included and the pricing is less then a private boat trip.

You can also rent the pontoon boats at the Yacht Club for an Illuminations cruise to see the wonderful show in Epcot. It will cruise you down to Hollywood Studios before docking under a bridge to get an up close viewing of the laser and firework show.

You can get a Fast Pass for the shows at both parks too but this will mean standing among others. This is of course easier then finding a spot on your own unless you want to park yourself an hour or so before. No matter where you are I am sure you will enjoy!
