Hello Dawn! You came to the right place for help with setting up your visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth! My fellow planDisney panelists and I are happy to answer any specific planning questions that you might have! You can send those to us at anytime! I'm happy to provide a few pointers with getting started on your vacation planning!
I like to begin my Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning by selecting a hotel in the
Disney Resorts Collection! They have a variety of resorts to fit your family budget! A few that I recommend are Disney's Art of Animation Resort, Disney Coronado Springs Resort - Gran Destino Tower, Disney's Riviera Resort, Disney's Yacht Club Resort, and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa! These are favorites in our family!
I also recommend that you purchase a vacation package including hotel and theme park tickets! When booking a vacation, Guests can usually find money-saving deals by viewing the
"Special Offers" page of the Walt Disney World Resort website!
Dawn, as soon as you begin your planning, you will want to check the
Disney Park Pass reservation calendar. Check this calendar before booking your visit! Guests must have both a valid theme park ticket and a Disney Park Pass reservation to visit the Disney Parks. The
Disney Park Pass system will show you which parks currently have availability! This way you'll know if you can visit your "must do" parks during your vacation! If park reservations are not available during your planned travel dates, then you might consider revising your dates to when the calendar shows availability for the parks that you really want to visit!
A Walt Disney World Resort Cast Member can also help plan your vacation! Their friendly and knowledgeable service is a great planning resource! You can reach a Cast Member by calling (407)-939-5277! Keep bringing your planning questions to planDisney!
