wanting to see happily ever after at the polynesian resort, but we're staying at POP, so if we take the monorail back to magic kingdom afterwards, will there still be buses to take us back to POP or will we miss them?

    Hello Susan!
I absolutely love the new Happily Ever After Nighttime Fireworks Spectacular in the Magic Kingdom Park! I had the opportunity to see Happily Ever After in May and June of 2017 and it was simply amazing. Typically the buses of the Walt Disney World Transportation System operate up to an hour after each them park's closing time so you should have plenty of time to take the Resort Monorail from the Polynesian Village Resort to the Magic Kingdom to then then transfer to a bus going to the Pop Century Resort. As long as you head to the Resort Monorail as soon as Happily Ever After is finished, then you should have ample time for this journey. Also there is a new Walt Disney World transportation service called Minnie Vehicles or Minnie Vans (vehicles themed to the one-and-only Minnie Mouse) which was announced at the 2017 D23 Expo! This new point to point Lyft-like service is just being rolled out in Walt Disney World and will be fully in operation at the end of July 2017. Up to 6 Guests can fit in each Minnie Van Vehicle. So this may be a great transportation option for you and your traveling party to get from Resort to Resort. Keep in mind that there is a fee for this service but this new transportation option should be one of the quickest ways to go from Resort to Resort. I would keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for updates on this new transportation service. I hope your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation is truly magical in every way!
