Fridays through Sundays tend to be very popular days to visit the Disneyland Resort theme parks. With the theme park reservations system, Guests can make theme park reservations up to 120 days in advance. I just peeked at the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar and currently, October 9th and 10th are crossed out. This means that all theme park reservations for those dates are sold out. People’s travel plans can change, and cancelations do happen.

Since you’re traveling from quite far away, the safest bet may be to make a theme park reservation for a day that is certainly available; that way, you’ll be confirmed and guaranteed the opportunity to experience all the pixie-dusted fun!
