Oh boy, the end of 2025 is near and it’s time to start planning for
fun things to do next year! I’m delighted to see you’re planning a trip to the
Happiest Place on Earth in February. With the cool, crisp weather, it’s a lovely time of the year to visit.
You’ll be in for a real treat as it was just recently announced that the
Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration will continue through August 9, 2026. Don’t miss this magical, milestone celebration and all the limited-time entertainment and offerings. “Wondrous Journeys” and “Paint the Night” parade are my family’s favorites and we’re definitely planning our 2026 trips to make sure we get our fill before these go back into the Disney vault.
Returning at the end of January is another festival you are asking about. Lunar New Year at Disney California Adventure Park starts on January 23, 2026 and will run through February 22, 2026. This month-long celebration will ring in the Year of the Horse, honoring Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese cultures. Last year, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse debuted their new Korean
hanboks during the Lunar New Year festival. And this year, we’ll get to see Disney characters wearing new Vietnamese and Chinese inspired attire as well.
