    I am wanting to do a gender reveal at magic kingdom when we come to Disney in a few weeks. Can you bring in and pop a gender reveal balloon that contains confetti on site? Thanks

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! What happy news you have to celebrate. We have to plan a magical reveal!

    Let me offer a few thoughts. Given that the cast members work diligently to keep the parks and resorts super clean, I would avoid popping any sort of balloon that would leave confetti on site. The great news is that there are Dream Makers on hand to help you celebrate at Disney Floral & Gifts. Although they have a variety of pre-packaged gift ideas, you can also use the Custom Gift Builder to create your own magic.

    I will also suggest that you consider one of the Cakes at Walt Disney World Resort. A customized cake might be a nice option for your special surprise. Just call 407-827-2253 to speak with a cast member. Personally, I love having our special surprises delivered from Disney Floral & Gifts - there was nothing like the expression on our girls' faces when they first visited Cinderella's Royal Table, entered the royal dining hall and saw giant princess balloons at their table!

    If you would prefer to bring your own surprise, I would pack something portable - blue or pink Mickey or Minnie ears or buttons for everyone perhaps? These could fit in a book bag or be stored at locker rentals until the time of the big reveal. Weather and crowds can be tricky. I want to be sure your surprise does not get ruined!
