Hello there, Cheryl!
There is nothing better than starting the Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning process. I actually think it's when the magic begins. This is a particularly exciting time to visit since Disney recently announced a
number of changes you can look forward to in 2023. I personally can't wait to see the return of the "Happily Ever After" nighttime spectacular.
Before booking a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, I'd suggest checking the
theme park reservation availability calendar first to determine your preferred dates. You'll need both a
theme park ticket and a valid
theme park reservation for each day you plan on visiting a theme park- so you'll want to make sure the theme parks are available. Once you've settled on a generally available date range, you can look into Resort hotels.
In order to see a Walt Disney World Resort rate calendar, you'll want to start exploring
Resort hotels. You can whittle down which Resorts you view by adding filters such as price range, location, category, and characteristics. For example, I love Resorts in the EPCOT area because I get to take the Friendship Boats to
EPCOT and
Disney's Hollywood Studios. Once you've applied your filters, press the blue hyperlink that is labeled "Check Availability" next to a Resort you are interested in. You can select possible travel dates and press the green hyperlink that is labeled "Find Resorts." From there, scroll down to an available room, press the "Rate Details" text on the right, scroll down in the pop-up window, and press "View Rate Calendar." You should be able to see a Rate Calendar; however, the availability has not been checked on the calendar.
Play around with the dates, locations, characteristics, and filters to find a Resort and time that fits your needs and dreams. You have so many magical options, and planDisney is ready to help you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation along the way.
May the magic be with you!
Melanie
