Ashley from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I am wanting to use Disney transportation to get to my cruise. What are my options for sailing out of Fort Lauderdale? I am looking for options that are from hotel to cruise terminal.

Hi there, Ashley! Welcome aboard, planDisney!

Disney Cruise Line Ground Transportation is my favorite way to get to my Disney cruise! Besides being super reliable, it’s also convenient and offers one less thing for guests to worry about on embarkation day morning, adding to the entire carefree and magical experience. (I'm just trying to worry about getting my coffee that morning, Ashley; not about how to get to my cruise!) I would be happy to share how to reserve Ground Transportation for your upcoming Disney cruise in Fort Lauderdale.

There are three hotels that you can take Disney Cruise Line Ground Transportation from to Port Everglades. They are:

    • Omni Fort Lauderdale
    • Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina
    • Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa

Funnily enough, I actually just reserved a stay at one of these hotels and Disney Cruise Line Ground Transportation today for my upcoming sailing out of Port Everglades, so I’ll walk you through what I did!

First, I reserved the hotel. You can either reserve through the hotel or through Disney Cruise Line, and a Cast Member will be happy to make the reservation for you.

Next, after reserving the hotel, I reserved Disney Cruise Line Ground Transportation with Disney Cruise Line. There are multiple options for reserving Ground Transportation. You can reserve through the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App or the Disney Cruise Line website, under “Next Steps”, and then “Ground Transportation”. You can also call Disney Cruise Line to make the reservation. If you reserved your cruise with a travel agent, you will need to contact them to make the reservation for you.

While never guaranteed, in my experience, whenever we use Disney Cruise Line Ground Transportation, we have an earlier Port Arrival Time, which allows us to be on the ship sooner and equals a little bit of extra time on board, Ashley!

Ashley, I hope that I was able to clarify how to make your Disney Cruise Line Ground Transportation reservations for a smooth sailing ahead. I wish you the most magical memories on your cruise! Please sail back to planDisney if you have any other questions, because my planBesties and I are always happy to help!
