    I am wanting to have dinner on a date in November on a MVMCP date, but I am not going to the special event. Will I still be able to keep that reservation since the park closes at 6 pm that date?

    Hi Mikayla and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    I will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in November this year as well! It can be confusing when you are making reservations when a special event like Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is happening. If you have a reservation at a Magic Kingdom Park restaurant before 6 p.m. when the park closes to day guests, you will be able to keep your reservation and enjoy your meal without feeling rushed. When you have finished dining you will be escorted to the park exit. 

    If you make a reservation for after 6 p.m. when the park closes to day guests, you will not be able to stay in the park for this reservation. Fortunately, there are several amazing restaurants at resorts near Magic Kingdom Park. My choice would probably be to hop on the monorail to Epcot to enjoy a delicious meal there.
