    I am wanting to do a 3 day cruise in september...my question is We will be staying at shades of green....is there transportation avail by disney to get to the ship from our hotel?

    Thanks so much for stopping by the Moms Panel with your question. So glad to hear that you're checking out a 3-day cruise in the next few months. There's nothing like spending a few days on the high seas with Captain Mickey -- it's a great reboot before you get back to the daily grind. 

    The Disney Cruise Line Ground Transportation is a very convenient way to get from the Walt Disney World Resorts over to Port Canaveral. But at this time, Shades of Green is not included as a pick up point. The closest resort pick up point is at the Disney Polynesian Resort. It is adjacent to Shades of Green, and you'll need to check with your hotel if they can arrange to get you and your family across the way via a car, cab or shuttle.  It might actually be a short cab ride on your own, to do the trick. Allow about 20 minutes or so, to get across - since you may need to wait for a car to pick you up. It's not really safe to be walking on that big street with luggage in tow.

    To add Disney Cruise Ground Transportation to your cruise reservation, you can just call the DCL Travel Desk at 1-800-951-3532. The cost is a $35 per person each way. You'll need to just let them know that your pickup point is at the Disney Polynesian Hotel, and a designated pick up time will be assigned to you once you make your reservation.
