We are wanting to combine Epcot and Studios in the same day. Which park is better to start in studios or Epcot? We really want to ride test track but are afraid arriving later could mean long wait times if our fastpasses are used at studios.

    Hi again, Jeremy,

I would definitely start the day at Hollywood Studios and use my first three FastPass+ options there. My family did this exact combination earlier this month. We began at Hollywood Studios with Toy Story Midway Mania!, Star Tours and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster as our FastPass+ options. (The rest of my family then hit Tower of Terror, but I'm a chicken when it comes to that).

After lunch, we walked from the studios to Epcot (it takes about 20 to 30 minutes) and entered through the International Gateway entrance. You can also take the water taxi from near the Hollywood Studios entrance. It also takes about 20 to 30 minutes.

Once you use your first three advance FastPass+ choices at Hollywood Studios, you can add one for Test Track, based on availability.

The other option, one my family takes advantage of frequently, is to use the shorter single rider line for Test Track if the stand by wait is too long or if FastPass+ is unavailable.

I hope that helps. Please let me know if I can answer any other planning questions for you. Enjoy your visit to Walt Disney World!
