    We are wanting to get our children WDW gift cards for Easter. Can they spend these anywhere in the parks or at DTD? Thanks for all of your help!!

    What a perfect gift for your children! Yes, you can use WDW gift cards anywhere on property including the parks and Downtown Disney. Please have them protect their gift cards, though, as they are treated just like cash, and if lost or stolen, will not be replaced. Another option, just to consider, would be Disney Dollars. These can be purchased at your local Disney Store, if you have a local Disney Store. They come in $1, $5, and $10 denominations and are also accepted throughout the entire resort as cash. They feature pictures of Disney characters instead of US Presidents, and a lot of people keep at least one (usually a $1 one) as a souvenir of their trip. Whatever option you choose, I think the responsibility to spend that you are giving to your children is admirable. Best wishes for a magical trip!
