    Hello. We are wanting to celebrate my daughters 6th birthday in March by going to Disney World. On the day of her birthday will she need a ticket to get in the park?

    Hi Sara,

    Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  There isn't anything more magical than celebrating a birthday at Walt Disney World Resort.  

    Guests celebrating a birthday at Walt Disney World Resort do require a ticket.  There are many ways to make your daughter's birthday magical at the theme parks.  When you entre the theme park, make sure to stop by guest relations and pick up your complimentary "Birthday Button"  when Cast Members see the button, they will take the time to wish your princess a Happy Birthday.  At several Table-Service dining locations, some extra pixie dust may be given when there is a celebration, so be sure to tell the Cast Member during check in that you are celebrating a birthday.  Disney Floral & Gifts also offer a wide variety of gifts and packages to help celebrate special occasions, they certainly know how to make a celebration memorable!
