Hi, Samantha! Welcome to planDisney! You've got the right idea to snowbird here in the Sunshine State. It's the best of both worlds!
And speaking of the best "Worlds," you'll love being a
Walt Disney World Annual Passholder, too! I live about an hour away, and it's so nice being able to visit the Most Magical Place on Earth pretty much anytime we like. Feel like dining at
EPCOT? Done! A long weekend at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel with some park time thrown in? Why not? Even if you're only here part-time, you can still spend lots of quality time at Walt Disney World.
Your bank statement will definitely work as
proof of your Florida residency, as long as it's dated within the last two months. You can go ahead and buy your Annual Pass online, but you'll need to stop by
Guest Relations before you use it for the first time to present your statement for proof of address. You can do that at the entrance to any of the theme parks, or hop over to the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs ahead of time. I love this idea since you can get your Annual Pass paperwork done, then enjoy some of the
amazing shopping and dining of Disney Springs. Plus, that will save you time when you do visit a theme park to use your brand new Annual Pass because you'll be able to skip Guest Relations and head straight to the fun!
Samantha, I'm excited to welcome you to the Annual Passholder family. Oh, and be sure to check out all the other
perks and discounts available once you become a Passholder! You're in for quite a year of magic!
Thank you so much for stopping by to see us, and please visit again if you have any more questions about planning your Disney days. We're always here to help!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
