HI, I am wanting the buffet breakfast, without the character experience, is Boma at AKL my only option? Thanks Again!!!

    Hello, Nicole!

You have several options for a delicious breakfast buffet at Walt Disney World without characters!

Just last month, two other Moms Panelists and I met for breakfast at  Captain's Grill, at Disney's Yacht Club Resort, where there was a great breakfast buffet listed as an option on the menu...and no characters in sight. :-) (I ordered the lobster and cheese omelet, though, and it was delicious!)

Another great (unofficial) source of this type of information can be found at allears.net. I searched "breakfast buffet" once there, and came up with reviews of many of the buffets available at WDW. It's easy to see not only which restaurants offer non-character breakfast buffets, but also some opinions on menu choices, which I find very helpful when trying to decide between two restaurants.

Keep in mind that Disney is constantly reviewing and revising its dining offerings, so the best way to find out what your non-character dining options are at a breakfast buffet is to contact Disney Dining at (407) WDW-DINE. I confirmed with Dining this morning that The Wave, at Disney's Contemporary Resort still offers a buffet as an option on their breakfast menu, too, again, with no characters.

This means that Boma-Flavors of Africa (at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge), Trails End Restaurant (at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground), Captain's Grill and The Wave are all non-character breakfast options, where a buffet is also served.

Enjoy your breakfast!  Send more questions as you think of them, too. I'd love to help!
