I m wanting to bring our grandkids next year in December. Would need 3 rooms and it will be 6 adults and 4 kids. 4, 3, 1 and 6mth old kids. Can you lead me in the right direction please thanks

Hello Tabitha. Well, if this question isn't just practically perfect in every way!!!! I am so thrilled to have the honor of helping you today because, like you, I'm a fellow "Gigi," as my toddler granddaughters call me. Oh, those grandchildren, "When the day is gray and ordinary, our grandchildren make the sun shine bright!"

I will be happy to point you in the right direction and give you a few "grandmother" tips. So, "Chim Chim Cher-ee," let's help you plan your jolly holiday family vacation.

You can begin booking your holiday fun on the Walt Disney World Resort website. At the top of the page, you will see "Build Your Vacation." I'm sure you first want to get your Resort hotel rooms booked, so let's discuss your options. When I travel with my toddler granddaughters, I love keeping them close so we can soak up every sweet moment together. That's why we typically choose Deluxe Villa Resorts. They offer spacious villas with multiple bedrooms, full kitchens, a washer and dryer, and all the room we need to enjoy our time together.

But, if three separate rooms are more your style, that's okay. Once you pick the Disney Resort hotel that feels right for you, remember to book each room separately since each will need its own reservation number.

If you'd like your rooms to be close together or even connected, give the Disney Resort Hotel Reservation line a quick call after you make your bookings to make this request. I'm not making a "piecrust promise," as Mary Poppins would say. (Easily made, easily broken) The Cast Members will do their best to accommodate your request, but keep in mind that having rooms right next to one another cannot be guaranteed.

Tabitha, I hope this helps you get started with your magical planning! I will add the link to the Special Offers, Deals & Discounts so you can watch as special offers become available.

Before I let you go, here are a few "grandmother" tips:
    - **Memory Maker**: This is a must-have purchase when I travel with my granddaughters. Having a PhotoPass photographer take our family pictures ensures that everyone is included and the memories we create will last forever.
    - **Make your Advanced Dining Reservations 60 days in advance**: It's important to book on time! My granddaughters would tell you they love Character meals even more than the rides. Seeing their faces light up when they dance with Goofy at Cape May Café or hug Mickey Mouse at Chef Mickey's is a memory you'll cherish forever.
    - **Bubble Wands**: Yes, I said bubble wands! They are the perfect souvenir for little ones. I've never seen a sad child in Walt Disney World Resort while they're blowing bubbles! One of my favorite memories is of my girls laughing and bubbles floating around us as we danced together to the music in Fantasyland. CORE MEMORY!!!

I know you have a lot of planning ahead of you, so please feel free to reach out anytime. One reason I became a planDisney panelist is to help fellow grandparents experience the magic with their grandchildren! There's nothing like it in the world!

Wishing you nothing but magical moments,
    Shonette
