Hi I am wanting to book the starwars dessert party for October when the dates are released, I will be going with my disabled daughter who cannot eat or drink anything orally, just wondering if she needed a ticket or not?

    Hi Adam ~

I am a big fan of the fireworks dessert parties at the Walt Disney World Resort! It is a great way to enjoy some yummy desserts and get a great view of the fireworks in a reserved viewing area without seeking out a good spot a couple of hours in advance.

I have a son with Cerebral Palsy who isn't able to eat anything offered at the Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party. We were required to purchase a ticket for him. While he couldn't eat anything, we were still paying for experience. There were character interactions during the dessert party and we each received a Star Wars novelty souvenir to remember the evening before we left. You are also paying for the reserved viewing area. The Cast Members will lead you from the dessert party out to the reserved area approximately 15 - 20 minutes prior to the show starting. We were able to take some desserts and our drinks with us so we took some extras to nibble on during the show as well.

There is a handicapped viewing area for the Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular. It is currently just in front of the stage that is set up in front of Grauman's Chinese Theatre. You would need to plan on getting there at least an hour before the fireworks. Depending on how crowded it is in the area, they may only let one member of your party stay with your daughter and ask that others watch from nearby. With the reserved area for the dessert party, you could all stay together.

Please feel free to visit us with all of your planning questions. We are hEAR for you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
