I am wanting to book park tickets for my family of 5. My husband and I both have a one day park ticket that never expires that we would like to use. How can I book all of the tickets together but also use the one day park pass that we both have?

Hi William! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question!

Oh boy! There is nothing quite like looking forward to a Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Dreaming about the endless experiences that await you during your stay! Traveling with a family of five means that the planning stages of your visit need to be well thought out. Five Guests tend to have all different opinions on what they want to do at the parks, or even which parks they want to go to. I've found that when you incorporate everyone's must-dos about the trip, even if they are your little ones, it makes for that much more of an enjoyable experience.

That's great that you already have two, single-day tickets to the Walt Disney World Resort. You'll have a few options here when booking your stay.

    • If you are solely purchasing park tickets and not a vacation package, then you should buy multi-day tickets for each Guest in your party for the full length of your stay, except for you and your wife. The two of you should buy one day less since you plan on using the single-day tickets you already own. This method will require two separate purchases, one for you and your wife, the other being for the rest of your party.
    • If you are booking your tickets as a vacation package with your Disney Resorts Hotel accommodations included, each Guest will need to have the same number of multi-day tickets on this reservation. Financially this option does not make much sense because you will need to purchase additional one-day tickets for the other three people in your party so everyone has the same number of park days.
Once you figure out the plan for purchasing tickets, the next step is to link these tickets to your My Disney Experience account. Log on and select "Park Tickets" followed by "Link Tickets". You'll need to enter the Ticket ID code found in your email confirmation or near the barcode on the ticket itself. Enter each unique code to link all of the tickets that are needed on this trip. They will then show up together on your My Disney Experience account where you can start making park reservations on select dates.

William, I hope this information helps you navigate the purchase of your park tickets. Have a magical time during your upcoming stay!

    See ya real soon!
