Wanting to book a cruise and resort stay for my family for November of 2015 as a birthday surprise for my middle daughter. How do i go about booking a cruise and resort stay together, or is that a good idea

Welcome aboard, Tatiana! A "surf and turf" vacation with Disney is my favorite kind of Disney trip! There is nothing quite like playing at the Walt Disney World Resort followed by relaxing and enjoying even more fun activities at sea with Disney Cruise Line!

The best place to start is on Disney Cruise Line's website. I'd recommend choosing your cruise dates first, as the prices can vary with the different ships and itineraries. Once you're set on which sailing you'll take, decide if you want to visit the Walt Disney World Resort before or after the cruise. Though I'd like to visit it both before and after, if I had to choose one, I'd choose to play at the parks before we sail. The parks are so much fun, but my family gets worn out from all the fun. I like to have the relaxing cruise to enjoy after all the fun days at the parks and resorts.

Disney Cruise Line is happy to book your cruise and resort stay for you. They can even book your park tickets and ground transfers between the resorts and the cruise port. However, if you're planning on booking with a particular resort promotion or using the Disney Dining Plan, you may be better off booking your cruise and resort stays through Walt Disney World separately. Just give the agents at Disney Cruise Line a call at 800-951-3532. They will be happy to help you book this amazing land and sea Disney vacation, Tatiana! Have fun planning!
