Hi Rebecca,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question!
When it comes to dining reservations, guests are able to book
60 days in advance. Since you’re starting to be within that window, you’ll want to keep checking for availability at
Chef Mickey’s. When I’m looking for a specific reservation, I check the app at least twice a day just to see if there are any changes. To save time within the
My Disney Experience mobile app, I just search the restaurant and go to its page from there!
If you’re unable to find a reservation over the coming weeks, Hakuna Matata, try looking for a breakfast reservation the evening before you want to go to Chef Mickey’s. Some guests could cancel their reservations the evening before, so you’ll want to keep refreshing to see what might become available.
Your final option would be to join the
Mobile Dine Walk-Up List! I’ve recently been able to score a few dining reservations through the My Disney Experience mobile app by doing this and it is by far my favorite option. To do the walk-up reservation, you’ll want to be physically at
Disney’s Contemporary Resort, then you just select the “Join Walk-Up List” within the app on the Chef Mickey’s page. These reservations are subject to availability, but if you get there early, you’ll have a chance. If breakfast opens at 7:00 a.m., simply arrive when breakfast begins. It’ll be an early start to the day, but so worth it!
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you prepare for your upcoming summer vacation. If you have other planning or vacation questions,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
